Caregivers and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) needed for part-time or full-time position in a 6-bed residential co-ed living facility in the city of Long beach near CSULB. CNA is responsible for patient care, documentation, ADLs, light cooking and housekeeping.

Hours

7am-1pm, 3pm-7pm, shift days vary, looking to hire as soon as possible.

Pay rate: Negotiable, depending on experience

Up to $17 to $20+/hour

Experience

CNA: 2 year (Preferred) Long Term Care: 1 year (Preferred)

Qualifications: CNA + CPR/AED cert

Shift Types

Day Shift (7a-3p) (3p-7p) , very flexible schedules can be accommodated

Shift Length: 2-8 hours

Responsibilities

• Ability to assist lifting senior patients on/off their bed/chair
• Bathing and grooming seniors
• Assisting seniors to use the restroom and changing diapers
• Preparing homecooked meals
• Assist with feeding at meal times
• Assist with clients personal care activities
• Monitor patients (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc.) and report on their condition
• Assist patients with mobility and physical therapies/exercises
• Perform light domestic/household tasks - vacuuming, meal prep, washing dishes, cleaning, laundry, and folding.
• Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support

Skills
