McKenney Home Care is a family-owned, private-duty home care agency serving Sarasota and Charlotte County. We are seeking licensed CNAs and experienced HHAs who are confident in their skills and committed to delivering high-quality care in a home setting.

This role is ideal for professionals who prefer one-on-one care over facility work and want to build meaningful relationships with their clients.

Flexible Scheduling

We offer a variety of shift options to fit your availability, examples include: * Morning shifts: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM, 9:00 AM–1:00 PM, 10:00 AM–2:00 PM * Short or split shifts: 2–3 hours (AM or PM) * Standard shifts: 4–6 hours * Extended shifts: 7–12 hours (day or overnight)

12-hour day and overnight shifts are widely available

Private duty schedules vary based on client needs, with opportunities for consistent, ongoing cases.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide skilled, one-on-one personal care in the client’s home * Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility * Support safe transfers and ambulation using proper body mechanics * Provide care for clients with dementia, Alzheimer’s, or other cognitive conditions * Monitor and report changes in condition to the office and nursing team * Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration * Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment * Provide medication reminders (no administration) * Complete accurate and timely documentation * Communicate effectively with clients, families, and care team
