Job Summary

Safe and Secure Home Care Inc. is a growing, locally owned non-medical home care agency dedicated to helping seniors and adults with disabilities live safely, comfortably, and independently in their own homes.

We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and professional Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our team as we prepare to begin serving families throughout Henry County and surrounding communities.

We are especially passionate about supporting individuals who are blind or visually impaired, while also providing exceptional care to seniors and adults with a variety of non-medical care needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
• Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Help clients with mobility and safe transfers within the caregiver's training and abilities.
• Provide medication reminders as permitted by applicable regulations and the client's care plan.
• Assist with errands and transportation when authorized.
• Support clients who are blind or visually impaired with daily activities while encouraging independence.
• Observe and report changes in clients' conditions to the appropriate supervisor.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.
• Respect client privacy, dignity, and confidentiality.
• Follow individualized care plans and agency policies.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification preferred; qualified applicants with personal care experience are also encouraged to apply.
• Minimum one year of caregiving experience preferred.
• Experience assisting seniors or individuals with disabilities is a plus.
• Experience supporting individuals with visual impairments is highly desirable but not required.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Reliable transportation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to pass required background screening.
• Ability to meet applicable Georgia caregiver training and competency requirements.
• Compassionate, patient, professional, and dependable.
