Certified Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aide

Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Home Health Aide to join our team. In this role, you will provide personal care and supportive services to clients within the scope of your training, demonstrated competency, and agency policies. Your primary focus will be to assist clients with daily activities, monitor their well-being, and ensure a safe and comfortable environment. This position plays a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients while maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care services such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance in accordance with the client’s care plan.
• Observe clients’ conditions and document care provided accurately and thoroughly.
• Promptly report any changes in the client’s health status, concerns, incidents, or problems to supervisory personnel for appropriate action.
• Support clients with activities of daily living while respecting their dignity and independence.
• Follow all agency policies, procedures, and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information at all times.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks related to client care as needed.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care aligned with the client’s service plan.

Qualifications

• Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) as recognized by state regulations.
• Demonstrated competency in providing personal care services within scope of training.
• Ability to observe and report changes in client condition accurately and promptly.
• Compassionate nature with excellent communication skills and a respectful attitude towards clients.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of safety procedures, infection control practices, and confidentiality requirements.
• Prior experience in home health or long-term care settings is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary.
