Certified Nursing Assistant

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Pediatric ENT Surgery office, full-time. Our office hours are Monday-Friday, 8a-5pm. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to pediatric patient care, demonstrating proficiency in providing essential support to nursing staff. This role requires travel to two Knoxville locations. The CNA will be responsible for delivering high-quality, respectful, and personalized care while adhering to all safety and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature, accurately documenting findings in electronic health records (EHR systems).
• Schedule surgery and outpatient testing
• Work with providers in office clinics and administrative responsibilities

Requirements

• Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in accordance with state regulations; additional certifications such as CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) are preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and patient care procedures relevant to pediatrics, or acute care.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR/eClinicalWorks) systems for accurate documentation of patient information.
