Certified Nursing Assistant/Temporary Administrative Assistant

Overview

We are seeking a qualified licensed CNA/Administrative Assistant (Temp) to support the continued growth of our Maryland office. The selected candidate will initially be based in our Columbia office, providing administrative support while an appropriate client assignment is identified. Upon successful client matching, the candidate will transition to providing in-home care. If the client assignment does not offer a full 40 hours of in-home care per week, the candidate may fulfill the remaining hours through administrative responsibilities within the office. Responsibilities Patient Care Responsibilities Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse. Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals. Assist with medical procedures, including catheterization and wound care. Provide emotional support to patients and their families. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.

Administrative Responsibilities

Support in-office administrative functions using standard office systems and procedures.

Complete callbacks and contact potential new clients

Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

Experience and Qualifications

Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.

Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.

Familiarity with supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.

Ability to assist with inhalation treatments and airway management.

Understanding of physiology and basic medical principles.

Proficiency in catheterization techniques.

Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and guidelines.

Experience in assisted living or long-term care facilities is a plus.

Strong medical documentation and record-keeping skills.
