Job Overview

We are seeking a cheerful, compassionate Caregiver/CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will deliver vital personal and medical care to clients, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Your positive attitude and attentive nature will help create a warm environment where clients feel valued and supported every day.

Duties

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Administer medications accurately following medical documentation and home healthcare regulations
• Support clients with memory care needs, including dementia and Alzheimer’s care, ensuring safety and engagement
• Operate Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to document care activities precisely and securely in compliance with HIPAA standards
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation to maintain a safe and comfortable environment
• Use specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts for patient transfers safely and effectively

Requirements

• Valid CNA certification or equivalent caregiving experience in assisted living or nursing home settings
• Familiarity with home health agency operations, EHR systems, HIPAA compliance, and home & community care regulations
• Strong communication skills for working with patients, families, and healthcare teams
• Physical ability for heavy lifting, patient transfers using Hoyer lifts, and long periods of standing or walking
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
