CNA/Caregiver

Job Overview

Saturday and Sunday 7:30am/8:30am-11:30am/!2:30pm. Must like animals (dogs) and be able to use hoyer lift and cathether.

We are seeking a compassionate CNA/Caregiver to support people with daily care needs in a respectful, safe manner. You will provide hands-on assistance, observe changes in condition, and communicate clearly with patients, families, and the care team. Your impact: Consistent, attentive care helps patients maintain comfort, dignity, and independence while giving families and care teams clear updates.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, mobility, meals, and daily activities in home, community, senior care, or facility settings.
• Measure and report vital signs; support catheter care and medication administration when authorized and within scope.
• Use safe lifting practices, manual handling, patient transfer methods, and equipment such as a Hoyer lift.
• Follow infection prevention and aseptic technique, protect patient confidentiality under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and complete accurate medical documentation.
• Adapt care and communication for older adults, people with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease, children, and individuals with disabilities.

Experience

• Relevant caregiving, nursing, patient care, or patient service experience is essential; experience in senior care, geriatrics, home care, long-term care, assisted living, hospice, memory care, or post-acute care is valuable.
• Experience in acute, sub-acute, inpatient, outpatient, hospital, clinic, medical office, emergency, intensive care unit (ICU), pediatric intensive care unit (PICU), operating room (OR), or trauma settings is welcome, not required.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) or electronic health record (EHR) systems, including Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks, is an asset. Medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and medical records experience are also useful.

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
