What You'll Do

As a Comfort Keepers CNA, you'll provide compassionate, personalized care for a client living with dementia, helping maintain a safe, familiar, and comfortable home environment.

Your responsibilities may include

• Providing one-on-one dementia care and companionship
• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Offering reassurance, emotional support, and meaningful conversation
• Using gentle redirection and positive communication to support memory loss or confusion
• Maintaining consistent daily routines to promote comfort and familiarity
• Assisting with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention
• Preparing meals and assisting with mealtime
• Providing medication reminders
• Performing light housekeeping and laundry
• Engaging the client in meaningful activities appropriate to their abilities
• Observing and reporting changes in behavior, mood, or physical condition
• Following the individualized care plan and completing required visit documentation
• Communicating professionally with the office team and client's family

We're Looking for CNAs Who Are:

• Current Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
• Available to provide care in Collinsville, OK
• Experienced in dementia or Alzheimer's care (strongly preferred)
• Patient, compassionate, and understanding of the challenges associated with memory loss
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to scheduled shifts
• Comfortable providing one-on-one care independently in a client's home
• Skilled in providing reassurance, redirection, and maintaining consistent routines
• Professional and able to communicate effectively
• Able to follow individualized care plans and safety procedures
• Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Able to successfully complete required background and pre-employment screening
