What You'll Do

As a Comfort Keepers CNA, you'll provide personalized care and support to a client living with dementia. Your role is to create a safe, structured, and comforting environment while helping the client maintain their daily routine and quality of life.

Responsibilities include

• Providing compassionate, one-on-one dementia care in the client's home
• Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Offering companionship, reassurance, and emotional support
• Providing gentle redirection and responding calmly to confusion, agitation, or changes in behavior
• Supporting consistent daily routines to promote comfort and familiarity
• Assisting with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention
• Preparing meals and assisting with eating as needed
• Providing medication reminders
• Performing light housekeeping and laundry
• Engaging the client in meaningful activities appropriate to their cognitive abilities
• Monitoring and reporting changes in behavior, mood, or physical condition
• Following the individualized care plan and established safety protocols
• Completing accurate and timely visit documentation
• Communicating professionally with the office team and client's family

We're Looking for CNAs Who Are:

• Current Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
• Experienced in dementia or Alzheimer's care (strongly preferred)
• Available and willing to work 12-hour shifts
• Patient, compassionate, and comfortable supporting clients with memory loss
• Skilled in providing reassurance, redirection, and maintaining structured routines
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to consistent attendance
• Comfortable working independently in a client's home
• Professional and able to communicate effectively with clients, families, and office staff
• Able to follow individualized care plans and safety procedures
• Able to successfully complete required background checks and pre-employment screening
• Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
