CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant

1. Must follow a written plan of care.

2. Report, observe, and document all unusual circumstances and change in patient’s condition to case manager or alternate RN.

3. Provide home safety and report all health and accident hazards in patient environment. Help teach families in care of the patient. Reinforce teaching to be done or initiated by the registered nurse.

4. Promote mental alertness and sense of well being to the patient through listening, conversing, and participating in appropriate activities.

5. Assist with medications which are ordinarily self-administered which have been prescribed by a physician and under the supervision of a registered nurse.

6. Prepare reports as required.

7. Participate in patient care conferences.

8. Must recognize complete confidentiality of all patient information.

9. Comply with infection prevention control policies and procedures.

10. Honor patient rights.

11. Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.

1. Must work in home without direct supervision with realization that errors or accidents may have serious consequences for patient.

2. Must use good judgments in recognizing signs and symptoms of unusual reaction to treatment or in relevant concerns of patient care.

Job Types: Per diem, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
