CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant

Experienced CNA's can start at up to $18.50 base (plus an additional $1 hour attendance bonus)

Purpose of this position

Provide nursing care in compliance with The Eastern Star Home policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations. The CNA assists residents with activities of daily living (ADL's), transfers, and skin, bowel, and bladder programs. Answer call alarms, assist with feeding, and ensure a safe, comfortable, and loving environment.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred. Valid CNA Certificate. Have to be able to lift and do transfers (more than 50 pounds). Must be able to walk and/or stand for 2 hours at a time. Must have lots of patience and ability to understand the needs of our residents - THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT.

Shifts Available

• Full Time Day Shift (6:3a-6:3p)-2 opening
• Part Time Day Shift (6:3a-6:3p)-1 opening
• Part Time or PRN Night Shift (6:30p-6:30a) - 1 day per week

This position reports to: Nurse on duty/Director of Nursing.
