CNA - Certified Nursing Assistants 6am-6pm

Job Description: We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team at Pelican Pointe. As a CNA, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents. Your primary responsibility will be to assist residents with their daily activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Responsibilities: - Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. - Help residents with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting and transferring techniques. - Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse. - Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals. - Assist in the maintenance of a clean and organized environment for residents. - Provide emotional support and companionship to residents. - Report any changes in residents' condition to the nursing staff. - Document residents' progress and care provided accurately and timely.

Requirements: - Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Texas. - Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a nursing home or long-term care facility. - Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work effectively as part of a team. - Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
