CNA/Experience Home Health Aide

Job Overview

As a CNA/Experienced Home Health Aide, you’ll provide attentive, respectful care to clients in their homes and communities. You’ll support daily routines, observe changes in condition, and document care clearly while protecting each client’s dignity and privacy. This role may involve working with older adults and individuals with disabilities, including clients receiving memory or end-of-life care.

Duties

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), personal care, meal preparation, cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
• Observe clients, take vital signs, assist with safe transfers, and provide catheter care or medication administration as authorized and within applicable requirements.
• Communicate with clients and care teams; complete medical documentation and maintain accurate medical records in electronic medical record (EMR) or electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Follow home health care regulations and privacy practices, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

Requirements

• Patient care or caregiving experience; home health, home and community care, home care agency, assisted living, nursing home, long-term care, live-in, senior care, or geriatric experience is relevant.
• Experience with dementia, Alzheimer’s, memory care, hospice, end-of-life care, or individuals with developmental disabilities or other disabilities is valuable.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, patient observation, personal care assistance, client communication, and patient transfer methods; experience using a Hoyer lit and sit to stand is helpful.
• Current first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and basic life support (BLS) skills are preferred. Ability to perform required lifting is important.
• Clean background check.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
