About the Position

Trendstar Homecare is seeking compassionate, dependable caregivers, HHAs, CNAs, and PCAs to help clients live safely and comfortably at home. We are looking for people who respect others, communicate well, and take pride in providing quality care.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other personal care needs.
• Help with walking, transfers, and mobility according to the client’s care plan.
• Prepare meals and assist with eating when needed.
• Provide companionship and encourage appropriate daily activities.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and tasks related to the client’s care.
• Provide medication reminders as directed in the care plan.
• Observe and promptly report changes in the client’s condition to the supervisor.
• Accurately document care provided and record shift hours using the agency’s system.
• Follow care plans, infection prevention procedures, and agency policies.
• Protect client privacy, dignity, and independence.
• Arrive on time and communicate promptly about scheduling concerns.

Qualifications

• Relevant CNA certification, HHA/PCA training, or caregiving experience appropriate to the assigned position.
• Experience in home care, assisted living, or a similar setting is preferred.
• Patience, compassion, and a respectful approach to working with clients and families.
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate clearly.
• Reliable transportation to assigned clients’ homes.
• Ability to perform assigned care tasks safely, with reasonable accommodation where applicable.
• Ability to meet applicable background screening and onboarding requirements.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
