Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) specializing in memory care to join our team. This role involves providing dedicated support to residents with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia, ensuring their safety, comfort, and dignity during scheduled shift from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Duties

• Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility using appropriate techniques.
• Engage residents through meaningful activities tailored to their cognitive abilities, fostering a positive environment.
• Ensure safety by supervising residents closely and implementing dementia-specific care strategies.
• Document all care provided accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive memory care.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA certification with current state licensure.
• Prior experience in memory care or working with individuals with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, vital signs monitoring.
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems preferred.
• Strong understanding of aseptic technique, infection control, and patient safety protocols.
• Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills and patience for working with seniors experiencing cognitive decline.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team during day shifts 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM and/or evening shifts from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Join...
