BrightStar Care is a home health company that promotes well-being in the home. We provide in-home ONE ON ONE care, assisting with toileting, light housekeeping, dressing, grooming, companionship, dementia care, safety and much more. Each client is individually assessed by a Registered Nurse to develop a personalized Plan of Care, which our employees follow to deliver top-notch care. Care needs range from simple companionship care to round-the-clock skilled nursing care and everything in between.

Role Overview

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at BrightStar Care, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and skilled support to our clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our nursing team to ensure personalized patient care is delivered effectively. Whether you work a two-hour or a twelve-hour shift, you’ll have the flexibility to make a significant impact in the lives of those you care for.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including toileting, bathing, and grooming.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Support clients with light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation.
• Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the nursing team.
• Follow individualized care plans developed by Registered Nurses to ensure quality care delivery.

Qualifications

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

• Valid CNA certification in the state of Illinois.
• Strong communication skills, with proficiency in English.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
• Flexible availability to work various shifts, including weekends.

Bonus If You

• Have experience in home health care or a similar setting.
• Bring additional bilingual skills that enhance client communication.

Employment Type & Availability

This is a Part-Time position with availability across all days of the week.

Location

This position is on-site only and located in Tinley Park, Illinois and surrounding suburbs.
