Job Overview Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Personal Care Assistant (PCA) working exclusively on weekends—Saturdays and Sundays—from 8 AM to 4 PM. As a weekend caregiver, you will be the frontline support for our residents’ daily needs, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and valued. Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using safe lifting practices such as Hoyer lifts when necessary
• Monitor and record vital signs accurately, maintaining detailed medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and EHR/EHR systems standards
• Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper procedures are followed for safety and accuracy
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease, creating a warm and engaging environment
• Follow aseptic techniques during personal care tasks to prevent infection and promote hygiene
• Collaborate with nursing staff to report changes in resident condition promptly and effectively
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols and safety policies

Requirements

• Valid CNA or PCA certification with active licensure in good standing
• Experience working with seniors or individuals with developmental disabilities preferred; experience in assisted living, long-term care facilities, or hospitals is highly valued
• Knowledge of medical terminology, vital signs measurement, and basic life support (CPR) certification required
