Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using tools like Hoyer lifts when necessary
• Monitor and observe for any changes in health or behavior to ensure safety and well-being
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking
• Medication reminders, accurately following care plans and HIPAA regulations to maintain confidentiality
• Support clients with cognitive impairments such as Alzheimer’s or dementia through memory care techniques and patient engagement strategies
• Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, patient observations, and any incidents in compliance with healthcare standards
• Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and maintaining a safe environment to promote hygiene and comfort
• Follow all safety protocols including CPR and First Aid procedures to respond effectively during emergencies

Experience

• Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, home health agencies, or group homes is highly preferred
