Now Hiring: Program Assistant (CNA Certified)

Day-Break at Waterbury is a medical adult day center dedicated to providing aging adults with valuable opportunities for socialization, recreation, and engagement in a safe and supportive environment.

We are currently seeking a Program Assistant who has experience or is CNA certified to join our team and assist with day-to-day program activities and direct client care.

Position Details

• Schedule: Hours Vary. Available Hours - Monday - Friday 8AM - 4:00PM, and every other Saturday
• Type: Full time
• Work Environment: Must be comfortable being on your feet for the entire shift

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care, including assistance with toileting, bathing, dressing, and feeding
• Support daily recreational, social, and physical activities for program participants
• Demonstrate genuine concern for the mental, emotional, and social well-being of all clients
• Assist with meal service during breakfast and lunch
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment by cleaning and disinfecting as needed

Minimum Qualifications

• Bilingual (English & Spanish) — Required
• Valid CNA certification or related work experience
• Compassionate, reliable, and committed to providing excellent care
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
