located in Buffalo, New York has immediate openings for enthusiastic and energetic CNA’s for all shifts to become part of our dedicated and professional staff. *We are* *looking for individuals who desire a worthwhile career that has purpose and makes a meaningful difference in someone’s life*.Under supervised professional and skilled guidance, our CNAs give direct nursing care to assigned residents and perform other services necessary for their personal and comforts needs. Ø In addition, educational reimbursement is available to qualified nursing students.

Ø We are paying $16.50 for this position.

Job Responsibilities / Duties

• Promotes resident hygiene and comfort.
• Distributes food/water and feeds residents.
• Assists with repositioning and transferring residents.
• Ambulates and transports residents.
• Records and totals fluid intake and output.
• Weighs residents.
• Documents on flow sheets.
• Assists with admission, discharge and postmortem care.
• Responds to call lights in a timely manner.
• Performs perineal care and uncomplicated colostomy care.
• Reports all observations & assessments to the Team Leader/Nurse Manager/Charge Nurse.
• Takes and records vital signs.
• Makes beds and keeps resident’s units clean and in order.
• Prepares room for housekeeping after resident discharge.

Skill / Experience Requirements

.

* Current NYS CNA Certification.

* Previous Long Term Care experience a plus.
