Companion/Caregiver

## Job Summary As a companion at The Majestic, you’ll build relationships, improve the quality of life and serve seniors in need of love and care. Your goal will be to help individuals enjoy life by helping them perform their simple daily functions, meal prep, activities, social interactions and housekeeping. Your compassion and diligence as a companion will bring joy into the lives of the residents you work with and help them feel encouraged, involved and loved in our beautiful, 14 bed modern farmhouse.

## Duties

• *Providing* personal care assistance such as bathing, dressing and grooming
• *Preparing* snacks and meals to help sustain and satisfy the client throughout your time with them.
• *Encouraging* light exercise and activities to keep the client mentally and physically engaged.
• *Tidying* up their apartment so that their environment remains neat and enjoyable.

### Required Skills:

• Experience –If you’ve had a job or experience in a position with similar goals and responsibilities, we’d love to connect with you.
• Skills – We’re looking for individuals that are compassionate, social, trustworthy and service-minded. If you have experience cooking, cleaning or caring for others, that’s a bonus!
• Characteristics – We are looking for a person with a heart for people that is willing to learn and grow through feedback in a team-oriented position.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
