As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for clients by ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Duties

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
• Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Engage clients in recreational activities that promote physical and mental well-being.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to hygiene standards.
• Uphold resident rights by treating each individual with respect and dignity.
• Must be able to work M-F 2pm-5pm 15hr/week
• Must have a valid license and also transportation

Skills

• Familiarity with working with individuals on the autism spectrum or those with developmental disabilities is beneficial.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred to ensure client safety during emergencies.
• Previous experience in home care settings is advantageous for understanding client needs.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Physical ability to lift clients safely and assist with mobility as needed.
• Knowledge of resident rights to advocate for clients' needs and preferences.
