Companion / Senior Caregiver

We are currently building our caregiver team for assignments throughout Queens and surrounding areas. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy helping seniors remain comfortable, independent, and engaged in their own homes.

### Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and conversation
• Spend quality time with clients and help reduce loneliness and isolation
• Assist with light housekeeping and keeping the client's living area tidy
• Prepare or assist with simple meals
• Accompany clients on walks, errands, shopping, or appointments when needed
• Provide medication reminders
• Assist with basic daily routines
• Observe and report concerns or changes to the appropriate family member or supervisor
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and comfortable environment for the client

### Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, dependable, and respectful
• Comfortable working with seniors
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently in a client's home
• Previous companion, senior care, home care, or caregiving experience is preferred but not required
• Reliable transportation is a plus
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
