Direct Support Professional (Caregiver) - Full Time Night Shift 8pm - 8am

*Adult Community Training* is an agency in Loudon County that provides support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This job is for a Direct Support Professionals, which is a caregiving job. No experience is necessary! In this job you would be working directly with 2-3 individuals in one of our homes in Lenoir City, TN. The hours are 8:00PM - 8:00AM. It is a 2 week rotating shift, with every other weekend off. The schedule is:

Week A: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday (half shift), and Friday

Week B: Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday (half shift)

There are some things to be aware of before applying. The people we support need full assistance toileting and they wear adult diapers. They need help wiping and cleaning up after voiding and bowel movements. This job requires full assistance helping people with transfers. There is some tugging and pulling to help them up, etc. So, this would not be a good fit with someone who has back problems or lifting restrictions.
