*Adult Community Training* is an agency in Loudon County that provides support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This job is for a Direct Support Professional, which is a caregiving job. No experience is necessary! In this job you would be working directly with 2-3 individuals in one of our homes in Lenoir City, TN. The hours are 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM. The Thursday shifts are only 6 hours. One week it is 6:00 PM - 12:00 AM and the next week it is 12:00 AM - 6:00 PM. This is a 2 week rotating shift, with every other weekend off. The pay is $16.68/hour + benefits. The schedule is:

Week A: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday

Week B: Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday

There are some things to be aware of before applying. The people we support need full assistance toileting and they wear adult diapers. They need help wiping and cleaning up after voiding and bowel movements. This job requires full assistance helping people with transfers. There is some tugging and pulling to help them up, etc. So, this would not be a good fit with someone who has back problems or lifting restrictions.
