English Speaking Live-In Home Health Aide (HHA) – Blauvelt, NY 10913 & Orangeburg, NY 10962

Avalanche Care is currently hiring compassionate and dependable Home Health Aides (HHAs) for live-in cases in Blauvelt, NY (10913) and Orangeburg, NY (10962).

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
• Monitor and report changes in the client's condition.
• Assist with medication reminders as directed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow the client's care plan.
• Communicate with the care team to ensure quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA).
• Fluent in English.
• Valid ID and Social Security Card.
• Two professional references.
• Physical exam with up-to-date immunizations (including MMR).
• Tuberculosis test and drug screening.
• Must be able to commute to Blauvelt (10913) or Orangeburg (10962).
