Job Overview

We are seeking a part-time compassionate and dedicated Experienced Caregiver to join our team, providing exceptional support and personalized care to individuals in the home. In this vital role, you will be instrumental in enhancing the quality of life for clients and family caregivers by delivering compassionate, attentive and respectful care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to give family caregivers a much-needed break while working within a supportive and dynamic team.

Duties

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and light meal preparation.
• Providing companionship and emotional support.
• Monitor and reporting changes in clients health or behavior to the appropriate persons.
• Ensuring a safe and clean environment for clients.
• Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia, and/or Alzheimer's disease.
• Following individualized care plans.
• Support clients’ social engagement by participating in activities that promote mental stimulation.
• Certified in CPR and First Aid; additional certifications such as CMT is preferred but not necessary.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and ME First staff.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while maintaining attention to detail in caregiving tasks

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
