Experienced Caregiver

Overview

We are seeking experienced companions to join our team as Respite Care Companions. As a Respite Care Companion, you will play a vital role in providing a break for family caregivers in need. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those we serve by providing a break for the caregiver.

Responsibilities

• Assist individual with daily living activities, medication reminders, personal hygiene and or meal preparation in their home.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to a resident
• Ensure residents' rights are respected and upheld
• Engage residents in social activities and promote a sense of community
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for resident

Qualifications

- CPR

-Fluent in English (written and oral)

-Experienced in senior care

-Experienced with dementia
