Job Overview

TLC Home Care is seeking a female caregiver for a role in Southside Anchorage. You will support a client’s daily needs, safety, comfort, and independence through attentive, respectful care.

Duties

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), personal care, meal preparation, cooking, light cleaning, and personal transportation assistance as needed
• Your impact: Consistent, respectful support helps clients maintain daily routines, dignity, and connection with their families and community.

Qualifications

• Caregiving, patient care, direct support, home care, home health, or home and community care experience is relevant; group home, assisted living, nursing home, long-term care, hospice, senior care, or geriatric experience is a plus.
• Experience with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or memory care, and supporting people with disabilities, developmental or intellectual disabilities, or other neurodevelopmental disorders is valued.
• Knowledge of resident rights, client communication, care plans, nursing, social work, patient personal care, and medication administration is helpful.
• First aid and CPR certification, vital-sign monitoring, patient transfers, and Hoyer lift experience are preferred

Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
