Full Time Evening 2-10 CNA

Overview

Join our care team as a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) on the 2 p.m.–10 p.m. shift. You’ll provide attentive, respectful care and help residents stay comfortable, safe, and engaged throughout the evening.

Duties

• Your impact: By delivering dependable personal care and sharing timely observations, you help residents maintain dignity and support the care team’s decisions.
• Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, and mobility.
• Measure and record vital signs; document care accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
• Support safe transfers using proper patient transfer methods, manual handling, and equipment such as a Hoyer lift.
• Communicate changes in residents’ condition to nursing staff and protect patient confidentiality in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

Experience

• Required: Current CNA certification and the ability to provide compassionate patient care, follow safe lifting practices, and communicate clearly with residents and colleagues.
• Preferred: Senior care, geriatrics, long-term care, nursing home, assisted living, post-acute, sub-acute, hospice, home care, or memory care experience, including Alzheimer’s or dementia care.
• Familiarity with catheter care, standard precautions , medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, medical records, and caregiver communication is valuable.
• Experience with PCC or other electronic medical record (EMR) systems is a plus.
