(HHA) / CNA $17/hour - SUNRISE

Job Summary

We are seeking energetic and dedicated Home Health Aides (HHA) / Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our team in Weston. In this vital role, you will deliver personalized in-home care, assist with daily activities, and support patients’ health and well-being. Duties

• Provide direct patient care including assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor and observe patients’ conditions, recording vital signs and reporting any changes promptly
• Assist with medication administration following proper protocols and documentation standards
• Support patients with memory care needs, including Alzheimer’s and dementia care, ensuring a safe environment
• Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to document care activities accurately and maintain medical records
• Help with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and ensuring a safe living environment
• Operate medical equipment like Hoyer lifts, catheters, and other assistive devices to promote patient safety

Requirements

• Valid HHA or CNA certification required; experience in home health or long-term care preferred
• Proven ability to work with people with disabilities or developmental disabilities
• Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, and patient privacy standards
• CPR certification is highly desirable; willingness to obtain if not already certified
• Experience with hospice care, memory care, or working in assisted living or nursing home settings is a plus
• Strong communication skills and compassionate attitude toward patients of all ages and backgrounds
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting patients using Hoyer lifts or assisting with transfers safely
