TRU Star Senior Care is a private-pay home care agency serving seniors and families across Long Island. We provide dependable in-home support that helps older adults remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.

We are currently hiring compassionate and reliable Home Health Aides, HHA, to provide one-on-one care and support to seniors in a home setting.

Position Overview

As a Home Health Aide with TRU Star Senior Care, you will assist clients with daily living activities, personal care support, companionship, homemaking tasks, and safety supervision based on the client’s care plan.

This role is a good fit for someone who is kind, patient, professional, and experienced in helping seniors with dignity and respect.

Responsibilities May Include

• Assisting clients with personal care routines
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Helping with safe movement and daily routines
• Preparing meals and snacks
• Light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a clean environment
• Medication reminders
• Assisting with errands, appointments, and transportation when assigned
• Observing and reporting changes in the client’s condition or home environment
• Following the client’s care plan and agency procedures
• Communicating professionally with families and office staff

Qualifications

• HHA certification preferred
• Prior home care or senior care experience preferred
• Must be compassionate, dependable, and respectful
• Must be able to follow a care plan and agency policies
• Must communicate clearly and professionally
• Driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
• Must be able to pass required background checks
• Flexible availability is a plus
