A Day in the Life of a Compassion Crest Caregiver

• Assist with personal hygiene (bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Provide toileting assistance and mobility/transfer support
• Offer medication reminders
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping
• Provide meaningful companionship, emotional support, and engaging conversations or activities
• Offer transportation for errands or medical appointments

You’ll support clients energetically and respectfully in the comfort of their own homes.

Who We’re Looking For

• Someone with a genuine passion for caring and a compassionate, kind heart
• A professional and dependable team player who values being part of a united, supportive group
• Patient, energetic, and friendly individuals who respect clients’ dignity
• Willingness to grow and learn in a caring environment

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Act professionally in stressful situations
• Communication skills
• Own and know how to operate a phone

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in caregiving, patient care, assisted living, nursing homes, or Dementia/Alzheimer’s care is a plus
• PCA/Caregiver Certificate (within last 6 years), CPR/First Aid (within last 2 years), recent Physical and 2-Step TB Test

Requirements

• Must be able to understand and speak English fluently
• Ability to pass background check, drug test, and complete required training
• Must have a reliable vehicle and driver's license
