Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
• Monitor patient health by observing vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature
• Administer medications and manage medical documentation in compliance with home healthcare regulations and HIPAA privacy standards
• Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals with developmental disabilities or geriatrics
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe environment

Requirements

• Valid certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with current credentials
• Proven experience in home healthcare or assisted living environments preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and basic life support (CPR/First Aid)
• Must have Physical and either a negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
• Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks such as transferring patients using Hoyer lifts or similar equipment
• Licensed driver with reliable automobile that is insured in accordance with the organizations minimum requirements
• Level 2 Background Check through AHCA
