Home Health Aide (HHA) Direct Care Worker

Qualifications

The potential candidate will be in good physical and mental health. Must have a genuine, caring interest in caring for individuals and willingness to work in private home settings. The Home Health Aide and the Nurse Aide must be able to follow written and verbal instructions. The potential candidate should have customer and personal service knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal care.

1 year work history as a Home Health Aide or have completed a formal Pennsylvania Department of Health Nurse Aide training course is required. The potential employee must be able to pass the skills and competency test provided by Pampering Plus Inc. with a score of 70 or better.

Skills Required

Be an active listener, giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made and asking questions as appropriate. Be in good physical health with the ability to exert maximum muscle strength to lift, push, pull or carry objects that weigh a minimum of 50 lbs.

Reliable transportation is a plus but not required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Per diem

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
