Job Description

We are currently hiring a dedicated and experienced Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide in-home care services to patients located in HIALEAH, FLORIDA. This position requires a caregiver who is compassionate, attentive, and capable of delivering personalized care while maintaining professionalism and respect for each patient.

The HHA will work directly in patients’ homes, assisting primarily elderly individuals with daily activities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and overall well-being. This role is essential in helping patients maintain independence while receiving quality care in a familiar environment.

IMPORTANT

This position is strictly for cases located in HIALEAH, FL – applicants must be able to reliably commute to this area.

Preferred Candidate

We are specifically seeking a candidate *50 years of age or older*, with hands-on experience in home care. *Spanish-speaking candidates are REQUIRED, as the patient only speaks Spanish. English is a plus but not required.*

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention
• Support patients with toileting and incontinence care if needed
• Prepare and serve light meals according to patient needs
• Assist with medication reminders (self-administration only)
• Monitor and report any changes in patient condition
• Maintain a clean and safe patient environment
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Follow care plans and agency protocols
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and confidentiality standards (HIPAA)

Required Certifications (Must be active and up to date)

• HHA Certificate (75 hours)
