Home Health Aide (HHA) or CNA

We are in need of a HHA or CNA to provide caregiving services to our client in Chatham - 2 days per week for 4 hours. Days and times in the morning are flexible.

Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to provide exceptional in-home and community-based care to clients with diverse needs. This role involves supporting patients with daily activities, health monitoring, and ensuring their safety and comfort. Ideal candidates will have experience in senior care, long-term care, or working with individuals with disabilities, including dementia and Alzheimer's care. The position offers opportunities for growth within the healthcare field and requires a commitment to patient-centered care while maintaining strict confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Support medication administration following prescribed protocols
• Provide specialized care for patients with dementia, Alzheimer's, or memory impairments
• Prepare meals tailored to dietary requirements and assist with feeding when necessary
• Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment
• Recognize and report changes in patient condition promptly to supervising healthcare professionals
• Drive client to dr's appointments and for errands. *Caregiver MUST have a drivers license and their own transportation.

Qualifications

• Valid Home Health Aide (HHA) certification or CNA license required
• Experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home health preferred
• Ability to work independently and compassionately in patients’ homes or community settings
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
