Home Health Aide (HHA) – Pediatric Home Care

Job Description

We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide quality care and assistance to pediatric patients in the comfort of their homes. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children or adults who require assistance with activities of daily living.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
• Provide feeding assistance and support with daily nutritional needs.
• Assist with safe transfers, mobility, and positioning.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients.
• Provide compassionate care and emotional support to patients and their families.
• Communicate effectively with families and supervising healthcare professionals.

Requirements

• Valid Home Health Aide (HHA) certification or training documentation.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current physical examination and required health screenings.
• Must successfully complete a background check.
• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish. Must be fluent in Spanish to communicate with patient and family.
• Must be proficient in smartphone technology and mobile applications for electronic documentation, scheduling, and communication.
• Must be dependable, patient, compassionate, and professional.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience providing care to pediatric or adult patients in a home care or healthcare setting.
• Previous experience caring for children with special healthcare needs is a plus.
