Summary

As a Home Health Aide at True Companionship LLC, you will play a vital role in delivering essential care and support to our clients in Richmond, VA. Your contributions will help improve the well-being of individuals who require assistance with daily activities and medical needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients' health conditions.
• Maintain accurate medical records and report any changes in patients' conditions to healthcare professionals.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
• Assist with mobility and physical exercises as needed, including lifting and transferring patients safely.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain client confidentiality at all times.
• Support clients with catheter care and other specialized health needs when required.
• Collaborate effectively with family members and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Home Health Aide or in a similar caregiving role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration protocols.
• Ability to lift and assist clients safely while adhering to best practices.
• Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others, especially those with disabilities.
• Excellent observation skills to monitor patients' conditions effectively.
• Familiarity with maintaining medical records is a plus.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy is beneficial.
• Experience in home community care settings is highly desirable.
• Must have reliable transportation
