Excellus Home Care provides personalized home health care for seniors, helping clients reach their highest level of health, comfort and function while remaining in their own homes. Our care is tailored to each client’s unique needs and situation, and we support independence and self-care to the greatest extent possible.

Our aides help with daily living, companionship, medication reminders, home safety and more, in shifts of 8 hours or more and up to 24/7. We offer respite care so family caregivers can recharge, and we work closely with hospice to provide a calm, dignified and compassionate environment for clients and their families. Dignity, respect and compassion guide everything we do, and the care and comfort of the client always comes first.

Position Summary

Excellus Home Care is seeking compassionate and experienced CNAs, HHAs/CHHAs, and PCAs to provide one-on-one, in-home care for seniors throughout Boston, Newton, Chestnut Hill, Westwood, Jamaica Plain, and surrounding communities.

As a caregiver, you will work directly in clients' homes, assisting with personal care, companionship, safety, and daily living activities that help individuals remain independent and comfortable in the place they call home.

Starting Pay Rates

• PCA: Starting at $20/hour
• HHA/CHHA: Starting at $21/hour
• CNA: Starting at $22/hour

*Starting rates may increase based on experience and the case.*

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate in-home care and companionship
• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Assist with mobility and transfers as needed
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
• Provide medication reminders
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry
• Help maintain a safe and comfortable home environment
• Observe and report changes in a client's condition

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts CNA certification, HHA/CHHA certification, or relevant PCA experience
• Previous caregiving experience required
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client homes within the service area
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional approach to care
• Ability to work independently while remaining connected to the care team
• Authorized to work in the US
