Hospice Aide/CNA

This is a mobile position in the field. The position requires a reliable vehicle and travel to patients in facilities in Philadelphia and surrounding suburbs.

Responsibilities

* Provide compassionate care and assistance to hospice patients in their homes or care facilities * Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and grooming * Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure * Administer basic life support and first aid when necessary * Assist with physical examinations under the direction of healthcare professionals * Support patients with mobility needs, including lifting and transferring * Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients Qualifications:

* Certification as a Hospice Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) * Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of medical office procedures * Experience in providing care for patients in various settings such as ICU, pediatrics, senior care * Ability to accurately measure and record vital signs * Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families * Knowledge of infection control procedures and safety protocols * Physical ability to lift and move patients safely Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Per diem
