### Position Summary

Madelia Health is seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our nursing team!

In this role, you will provide direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse. The CNA plays an important role in ensuring patients receive safe, quality, and compassionate care while working collaboratively with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals.

### Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Assist patients with daily care needs, mobility, positioning, and transfers.
• Observe and communicate changes in patient conditions and needs to the licensed nurse.
• Assist with patient care activities in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for patients.
• Work collaboratively with the nursing team to provide high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Complete assigned tasks within the scope of training and demonstrated competency.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and patient confidentiality standards.

### Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Certified Nursing Assistant educational program.
• Must be listed in good standing on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at the time of hire or within six months of employment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and coworkers.
• Strong teamwork, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to remain calm and respond appropriately in stressful or emergency situations.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, respectful, and quality patient care.
