Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to provide high-quality personal care and homemaking services to seniors. This role involves assisting clients with daily activities, ensuring their comfort and safety, and supporting their independence. The caregiver will play a vital role in enhancing the well-being of those in their care through attentive and respectful support. Effective communication in English is essential to coordinate care and ensure clear understanding with clients and team members.

Duties

• Provide senior care by assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Offer personal transportation assistance to help clients attend appointments, run errands, or engage in social activities.
• Perform homemaking tasks including light cleaning, meal preparation, laundry, and organization to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences, ensuring personalized care.
• Monitor clients’ health status and report any concerns or changes to appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Support clients in maintaining their independence while respecting their dignity and privacy.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and care plans established by supervising healthcare providers.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in senior care, homemaking, or personal care assistance is preferred but not required; training will be provided if necessary.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English to ensure clear interactions with clients and team members.
• Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to assist others.
• Ability to perform physical tasks related to caregiving duties including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Reliable, responsible, and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a supportive environment.
