Job Overview

As an In Home Caregiver, you’ll provide respectful, attentive support to clients in their homes and communities. You’ll assist with daily routines, observe changes in well-being, and follow each client’s care plan while protecting privacy and personal choice. Your impact: Consistent, compassionate care helps clients maintain comfort, dignity, and independence while giving families greater confidence in their day-to-day support.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), personal care, mobility, and safe transfers; use a Hoyer lift when trained and appropriate.
• Monitor clients, observe and report changes, and record vital signs as directed by care plans.
• Support medication administration only as authorized and within applicable requirements; follow Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) privacy practices and uphold residents’ rights.
• Prepare meals, cook, clean, and provide personal transportation assistance as assigned.
• Deliver direct support and patient care, including memory, dementia, Alzheimer’s, hospice, and developmental disability support, with respectful client communication.

Qualifications

• Caregiving, home care, home health, or home and community care experience is relevant; group home, assisted living, nursing home, long-term care, senior care, or geriatric experience is valued.
• Experience supporting people with autism, intellectual disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, or other disabilities is helpful.
• Knowledge of patient observation and monitoring, care plans, nursing, medication administration, manual handling, patient transfer methods, and heavy lifting is beneficial.
• First aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills are preferred. Follow applicable care instructions and safety procedures; use equipment only when trained.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
