Role Overview

As an In-Home Caregiver at Assisting Hands North Austin, you will be responsible for providing personalized, non-medical support services to our clients, enabling them to maintain their dignity and independence in the comfort of their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our dedicated team to ensure that individuals receive the compassionate care they deserve. Whether you work full-time, part-time, or on-call, you’ll have the flexibility to accommodate the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Support clients with mobility and transportation needs.
• Engage clients in meaningful conversation and companionship.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team and family members to ensure comprehensive care.

Qualifications

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

• Previous caregiving experience or relevant certification.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Demonstrated compassion and advocacy for the elderly and disabled.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends.

Bonus If You

• Have additional certifications in CPR or First Aid.
• Are bilingual, especially in Spanish.
• Possess training in specialized areas such as dementia care.

Employment Type & Availability

This position is available for both Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities, with shifts available Monday through Sunday.

Location

This position is on-site only, specifically looking for candidates in Georgetown, Texas.
