Role Overview

As an In-Home Caregiver at Assisting Hands North Austin, you will be responsible for providing personalized, non-medical support services to our clients, enabling them to maintain their dignity and independence in the comfort of their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our dedicated team to ensure that individuals receive the compassionate care they deserve. Whether you work full-time, part-time, or on-call, you’ll have the flexibility to choose a schedule that suits your lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, personalized care and support to clients in their homes.
• Assist clients with daily living activities, including meal preparation, grooming, and housekeeping.
• Maintain clear communication with clients and their families regarding care plans and needs.
• Document care activities and report any changes in clients’ health condition to the team.
• Foster a trusting and supportive relationship with clients to enhance their quality of life.

Qualifications

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

• Experience in caregiving or a related field, showcasing empathy and patience.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and families.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team dedicated to enhancing clients’ well-being.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid, or willingness to obtain within a specified time frame.
• Knowledgeable about the needs of elderly or disabled individuals is a plus.

Bonus If You

• Have additional caregiving certifications or relevant training.
• Are bilingual, with proficiency in languages other than English.
• Possess a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.

Employment Type & Availability

This position is available as both Full-Time and Part-Time, with shifts available Monday through Sunday.

Location

This position is on-site only in Austin, Texas.
