Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in their own homes. This vital role involves delivering personalized care that promotes independence, safety, and well-being. As an In Home Caregiver, you will be a trusted companion and caregiver, ensuring that clients receive the highest quality of care tailored to their unique needs. Duties

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using patient transfer methods and manual handling techniques such as Hoyer lifts.
• Monitor and observe patients’ health status by checking vital signs, administering medications, and recording changes in condition to ensure safety and well-being.
• Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary restrictions and preferences, supporting overall health and wellness.
• Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering a positive environment that encourages mental engagement and social interaction.
• Support clients with home & community care needs, including transportation assistance for appointments or errands, ensuring safe mobility at all times.
• Follow care plans meticulously while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and organizing to maintain a safe and comfortable living space.

Qualifications

• (Preferred but not required)proven experience working with individuals with disabilities, developmental or intellectual disabilities, or senior care environments such as assisted living or nursing homes.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using appropriate patient transfer methods like Hoyer lifts; manual handling skills (if applicable)
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and collaboration with management while maintaining confidentiality per HIPAA standards.
• Valid driver’s license preferred for personal transportation assistance; must be reliable and punctual.
• Compassionate attitude combined with energetic motivation to improve clients’ quality of life through dedicated caregiving efforts.
