Job Title: Experienced Caregiver / Personal Care Assistant (12-Hour Shifts)

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly dependable, experienced caregiver to provide exceptional one-on-one care in a private home setting. This role is best suited for professionals who take pride in their work, demonstrate strong judgment, and value consistency, discretion, and reliability.

This is a low-turnover environment where continuity of care is a priority. We are looking for individuals who show up on time, communicate proactively, and are committed to maintaining a high standard of care.

Key Responsibilities

● Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting)

● Deliver attentive, respectful companionship while maintaining professional boundaries

● Observe, assess, and respond to changes in condition using sound judgment

● Maintain a calm, safe, and structured environment

● Follow established care routines while adapting thoughtfully to client needs

● Communicate clearly and consistently with care team regarding updates or concerns

Ideal Candidate

● CNA certification preferred; equivalent hands-on home care experience will be considered

● Proven experience working with elderly clients in a home care or similar setting

● Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work independently without supervision

● Reliable, punctual, and committed to scheduled shifts

● Professional, discreet, and respectful in private home environments

● Excellent communication and observational skills

Position Requirements

● Must be 18 years of age or older

● Must pass a criminal background check

● Must be able to work 12-hour shifts

● Must be available for at least one weekend per month

● Consistent attendance and reliability are essential for this role
