In Home Caregiver

Overview

As an In Home Caregiver, you’ll provide respectful, dependable support that helps clients live safely and comfortably at home. You’ll assist with daily routines, observe changes in well-being, and communicate clearly with clients and appropriate care team members. This is a paid position. Your impact: By following each client’s care plan and respecting their choices, you help clients and families feel supported in daily life.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), personal care, mobility, and safe transfers; including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting as assigned.
• Provide Companionship and emotional support.
• Prepare meals, cook, light house keeping, laundry, personal transportation assistance as assigned.
• Observe and monitor clients, report changes, and support care plans, medication reminders.
• Treat every client with dignity, patience kindness and respect.

Skills

• Essential: Compassionate caregiving, patient care, patient observation, client communication, assisting with ADLs, meal preparation, cleaning, and safe manual handling and patient transfer methods.
• Previous caregiving or home care experience required.
• Ability to perform required physical tasks, including lifting, and to provide respectful, reliable support.
• Willingness to learn and follow each client's care plan.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
